WHY I USE VELVIT OIL

I tend to use one of three finishes for my work.  Nearly everything turned gets a coat of filtered walnut oil as a base, followed by a walnut oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax combination I make myself, several coats of lacquer, or, very often, a finish coat of Velvit Oil.  I find the Velvit Oil to be an excellent finish for many items as it is durable, not susceptible to sagging, orange-peel, or drips, and has the added advantage of being very easy to apply.
